Fabulous Pitch Party Coming!

Pitch Party

AWESOME NEWS FOR ASPIRING AUTHORS!

Your chance to pitch to a team of authors, agents, and editors who are going to do their best to match you up with just the person who might want your manuscript is coming in February. Are you ready? I’m going to be making my pitch, so here’s your chance too!

If your manuscript is polished till it shines. If you’re ready to query agents or are currently querying them, and if you can say yes to both then you might be interested in a new Twitter pitching opportunity, a Pitch Party on February 11, 2016 called Pitmatch#pitmatch

If you’ve not tried a Twitter pitch party yet, you should. It works like this…you have to come up with a 140-character pitch about your novel in hopes of hooking an agent who will request your manuscript. It’s not as easy as you think but you’ve got time to make it scream, PICK ME!

Here’s how this one will work. On February 11th on Twitter, you can post ONE pitch between 1 PM and 4 PM EST. Not all pitch parties have the same rules but do make sure you stick to the ONE PITCH PER MANUSCRIPT RULE. So if you have more than one completed manuscripts, you can submit ONE pitch for each, but only one so make it good.

For more information about Pitmatch, the genres accepted, and their hashtags, please visit Brenda Drake‘s blog for the rules and more. This is huge, exciting, and your big chance.

If you’re not close to being ready, that’s okay because there will be more chances coming. Be sure to think about using my services to get it ready for the next big chance to find success.

Happy Writing…and Pitching Everyone!

  1. I participated in the last one and got a starred tweet 🙂 I didn’t realise the rules of engagement, though. My manuscript was only half finished – doh! Great post x

    1. Just knowing someone is interested is a huge boost to your self-esteem as a writer so even if it doesn’t work the first time but you get good feedback, you’ve succeeded. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. 😀
